MDA is a non-profit school governed by a Board of Directors. Board members volunteer their time and provide resources to the school. The Board of Directors is self-perpetuating, comprised of school parents. The Board of Directors concentrates on broad direction and strategic planning of the school, and delegates the day-to-day operation of the school to the Head of School. The Head of School acts as the visible representative of the board.
