History

Magen David Academy (MDA), founded in 2008, has grown from 150 students to over 450 students and 120 staff members from 14 countries. It is the only International Orthodox Jewish school in the region, accredited by Cognia/AdvancEd, SACS, and the Panamanian Ministry of Education. MDA offers a U.S.-based curriculum with English as the main language of instruction and is a member of AMISA and PAIS. The school promotes a welcoming environment, fostering individual growth, academic excellence, and community involvement, while celebrating both Jewish and Panamanian traditions.
